A young boy hailing from the lands of Sharlayan under the guidance of his arrogant father and mighty grandfather, expectations were too high for both Alisaie and Alphinaud to meet. It was foolish to expect them to reach the same heights at such a young age, but they learn; Alphinaud learns fast and quick, but he is still a child. The boy before her did not have the experience yet, but he will learn. Such is the way of life, such is the path of Scions of the seventh Dawn.

As of now, her mission was the protection of the three Scions left: the Warrior of Light, Alphinaud, and Tataru. In the midst of this city, the woman hides and keeps a low profile while scouting the grounds as she’d done for ten years, whenever she wished to meet her brothers upon return from her journeys. “You are young, Alphinaud. You are too eager to reach heroics when they won’t come to you because you wish for it. Arrogance begets failures and downfall, such is the truth of this world. You are lucky that it has come to it before the ending was written down.”

Golden gaze of the once-Ishgardian warrior would remain unmovable akin to a fortress. There has been many tragedies he might’ve seen while arriving to Eorzea, but no one shall live in eternal peace. There will be bloodshed, there will be war, there will be greed, there will be violence. No matter what one does, the core of hardships will never disappear to make others value peace and balance. It is why chaos was her beloved partner, balancing out her internal black silence and filling it with white noise to keep her on her toes. Would it not be beneficial for Alphinaud to reach the same conclusion? The fact that he must accept he will never be able to solve all the problems and he must take it step by step, climb towards the heights from the bottom before claiming himself as the savior. Martyrs don’t live long, after all.

There is none who will truly take you into consideration before you shall understand the struggles of the bottom line, going through despair and bloodshed before standing up straight,” a hand is lifted up as the woman brings it to place atop of his head, patting him as if he were naught but a child she had to scold and teach a valuable lesson in life. He reminds her of herself,, young and arrogant, too, but learning the lesson early on to stop expecting the world to listen to her every word and all the victories to come to her out of talent. Hard work will become his best comrade, failures will become his fuel for future endeavors and success. “Do not attempt to prove anyone else you are good enough, find a way to reach the heights through careful work. Look around and learn from those who have been present here longer than you have been, inquire them on their path, learn their stories, and build your own. Me, holding a knife at a doppelganger of me: NO. WE can’t DO THIS. WE can’t give all our bad characters REASONS for why they do/did the things they do-Sometimes, people are assholes for the sole purpose of being assholes because they’re terrible people.

Me, but cornered by Knife me: ......Minerva made a series of awful terrible mistakes, but to be honest, in Victorian era society, adultery was followed by divorce which would result in a massive loss of property and possession for her since marriage transferred all her possession and property to her husband’s name. And considering how both her parents are dead and she has no skill set, she’d basically be on the streets. Or in a lesser but still not great case scenario she could be committed to an asylum-which disturbingly ‘immoral behavior’ is an acceptable commitment reason, that is fucked up-which would be a death sentence for most people considering the conditions of victorian era society towards the disabled or the feminine were abysmal. So the act of hiding the fact she had two (2) affairs and two (2) resulting children from said affair was her partially trying to preserve herself form even worse situations that could kill her int he long run, she just handled it poorly and made bad choices the way any panicking person would. She could have handled it better and Barnabas wouldn’t have been a traumatized attic child with high level anxiety, agoraphobia and an inability to function socially, Trixie might have had a face and not become a sadistic cultist witch and Asmodeus probably wouldn’t be macking on her husband. She honestly could have passed them off both as Aleksei’s children, but she made mistakes and aren’t we all in the right to forgive mistakes?

Harry Potter AU Characters Part 2

This is my opinion of what characters from other movies and tv show would be like in the Harry Potter Universe.

Anthony Edward “Tony” Stark

-Blood Status: Pureblood

-House: Gryffindor

-Best Class(es): Potions

-Wand: Ten inches, Hazel, Unicorn Hair

-Patronus: German Shepard 

-Quidditch: Avid Bystander

-Bio: Tony received his letter two months and four days before his eleventh birthday. Which was to be expected because he was a Stark after all. One of the most important pureblood families, though some were labeled as blood traitors for marrying muggleborns. The sorting hat put Tony into Gryffindor although it thought that Slytherin would be a better fit. But Tony refused to be in the same house as his father. In third year he tried out for the Quidditch team but was disqualified for adding spells to his broom.He excelled in school, specifically in potions. After Hogwarts he became an Auror and joined the Order of Phoenix. About two years into the First Wizarding War, his parents were found dead in the back of a shop on Knockturn Alley after being missing for months. Tony could never caste a corporal patronus because of his painful relationship with his father but when he did it was a German Shepard.

 Robert “Bruce” Banner

-Blood Status: Half-blood

-House: Ravenclaw

-Best Class(es): Charms 

-Wand: Eleven inches, Ash, Dragon Heartstring 

-Patronus: Grizzly Bear

-Quidditch: Semi-interested Bystander

-Bio: Bruce got his letter four months before his eleventh birthday. Which caused his parents to worry slightly after finding out that he was a werewolf. The sorting hat barely touched his head before it called out Ravenclaw and Professor McGonagall had to point him in the right direction because his nose was in one of his textbooks. It took Tony until second year to figure out Bruce’s secret and this made them both grow closer. He has a knack for healing magic specifically healing wounds. He does in-depth research of Lycanthropy to find a way to heal or at least alleviate the symptoms. Like Tony, he has a hard time casting a corporeal patronus but when he does it is a large grizzly bear. After Hogwarts he became a healer at St. Mungo’s and still researched Lycanthropy to find a cure.

Peter Benjamin Parker

-Blood Status: Half-blood

-House: Ravenclaw

-Best Class(es): Potions

-Wand: Fourteen inches, Cedar, Thestral Tail Hair

-Patronus: Spider

-Quidditch: Beater

-Bio: Peter was born to a Muggleborn wizard and a Pureblood witch. His parents were killed by Death Eaters when he was a young child. His father’s brother and wife took him in and raised him as a muggle until his eleventh birthday. The sorting hat almost immediately sorted him into Ravenclaw because of his high intelligence. Peter befriends Bruce and Tony, and often helps them with their research and potions. He is able to caste a corporeal patronus in fifth year. It’s a spider. After Hogwarts he comes back to teach potions and is one of the youngest members of the Order of Phoenix.

Steven Grant “Captain” Rogers

-Blood Status: Half-blood

-House: Gryffindor

-Best Class(es): Charms, Care of Magical Creatures

-Wand: Fourteen inches, Pear, Dragon Heartstring

-Patronus: Golden Retriever 

-Quidditch: Beater

-Bio: Steve’s mother was a pureblood and she married a muggle without telling him that she was a witch. When she became pregnant with Steve she decided to tell her husband that she was a witch, which caused him to leave her. She carried Steve to term but she was so heartbroken, she died a few days after. Steve was moved from orphanage to orphanage until he was adopted by Sarah Rogers, a muggle. He got his letter six months before his eleventh birthday, which surprised his mother. He was sorted into Gryffindor almost immediately. He becomes a beater in second year and the Quidditch captain in fifth year. Almost everyone in Gryffindor and other houses call him “Captain.” Steve becomes prefect in sixth year. His mom passes away the summer after fifth year and he moves in with Bucky and his family. After Hogwarts he moves back into his mother’s home with Bucky and becomes a member of the Department of Mysteries.

James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes

 -Blood Status: Pureblood

-House: Gryffindor

-Best Class(es): Defense Against the Dark Arts

-Wand: Ten inches, Holly, Phoenix Feather

-Patronus: Wolf

-Quidditch: Beater

-Bio: His parents were overjoyed when he got his letter . He was sorted into Gryffindor only because he told the sorting hat that was where he wanted to be. He becomes a beater of the Gryffindor team and he co-captain that no one needed. All of his brothers and sisters are placed int Gryffindor as well. He does really well in DADA as well as Dueling. He shares a pet owl with Steve, which they use to communicate back and forth over the summer. He is very protective of his younger sisters and brothers. After Hogwarts he worked for the Ministry of Magic. He also became a member of the Order of Phoenix.

Samuel Thomas “Sam” Wilson

-Blood Status: Half-blood

-House: Hufflepuff

-Best Class(es): Defense Against the Dark Arts

-Patronus: Falcon

-Quidditch: Chaser

-Bio: Sam got his letter four months before his eleventh birthday. Both of his parents were thrilled. He was sorted into Hufflepuff almost immediately because of his loyalty. He became a Hufflepuff chaser in third year and the co-captain in sixth. He likes to mess with Bucky but the one place they get along is when they want to prank Steve. He does well in dueling club and often goes up against Bucky who is of equal talent. He has an owl named Redwing that he rescued and raised as a baby. This causes the owl to have a very strong bond with him. In later years, he becomes a registered animangus. He takes the form of an orange cat. After Hogwarts, he follows in his father’s footsteps by becoming an Auror and joins the Order of Phoenix. Right before the end of the Wizarding War his father goes missing and is presumed dead.

 Clinton Francis “Clint” Barton

-Blood Status: Muggleborn

-House: Hufflepuff

-Best Class(es): Herbology

-Wand: Twelve inches, Ivy, Veela Hair

-Patronus: Hawk

-Quidditch: Seeker

-Bio: Clint received his letter on his eleventh birthday, much to the surprise and joy of his parents. He was sorted into Hufflepuff after the sorting hat debated between Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. He is obsessed with flying and Quidditch. So he became seeker in third year. He becomes Captain in sixth year and appoints Sam as his co-captain. Clint and Sam have a strong bond over flying. They often have heated discussions over their favorite Quidditch teams. Sam roots for the Bulgaria team while Clint roots for Ireland. Clint spends a lot of time in the owlery taking care of the birds and will often get minor injuries. After Hogwarts Clint opened a small broom and Quidditch shop on Diagon Alley and did not join the order of Phoenix until after his sister, Cathleen, was killed by a Death Eater.

 Natalia Alianova “Natasha” Romanoff

-Blood Status: Pureblood

-House: Slytherin

-Best Class(es): Study of Ancient Runes

-Wand: Nine inches, Aspen, Dragon Heartstring

-Patronus: Spider

-Quidditch: Chaser

-Bio: Nat was born into a blood purist pureblood family, while she has no preference for blood. Her family shuns her for her views on blood status. While she is sorted into Slytherin, she does not act like most Slytherin students and mostly hangs out with students from other houses. he loves to read and is often found by the Black Lake reading or talking to the merpeople. She becomes chaser on the Quidditch team in third year, prefect in fifth and headgirl in seventh. After Hogwarts, she joins the Dark Lord’s Death Eaters, but only as a spy for Dumbledore and the Order of Phoenix.

   Pietro Aleksei Maximoff

-Blood Status: Half-blood

-House: Slytherin

-Best Class(es): Astronomy 

-Wand: Twelve inches, Fir, Dragon Heartstring

-Patronus: Timber Wolf

-Quidditch: Seeker

-Bio: Pietro got his letter three months before his eleventh birthday. He was quickly sorted into Slytherin for his ambition and it became apparent that he was very talented on a broom. Because of his speed he was put onto the Slytherin Quidditch team as seeker in second year. He was the youngest seeker until Harry Potter came along. His best class was Astronomy because he remembers looking up at the night sky with his father before he died. Pietro is fiercely protective of his twin sister and vice versa. He is often known as one of the ladies men in the school. Many guys think it has something to do with his accent. After Hogwarts, he becomes an Auror and joins the Order of Phoenix. After valiantly battling, he was killed. His sister was devastated and refused to speak for weeks.

Wanda Cathleen Maximoff

-Blood Status: Half-blood

-House: Gryffindor

-Best Class(es): Divination, Charms

-Wand: Twelve inches, Oak, Kneazle Whiskers 

-Patronus: Racoon

-Quidditch: Chaser

-Bio: Wanda received her letter the same day as her twin brother, Pietro. She was quickly sorted into Gryffindor but was disappointed that her and Pietro could not be in the same house. She does well in Divination as well as Charms and in third year she makes Chaser on the Gryffindor Quidditch team. he becomes prefect in fifth year and head girl in seventh. She is fiercely protective of her brother and loyal to her friends. She has a crush on Victor Black, better known as Vision. After Hogwarts, he joins the Dark Lord’s Death Eaters as a spy for Dumbledore and the Order of Phoenix. But when he brother died she left the Death Eaters and went into seclusion for a number of years. After eleven years she came back to Hogwarts to be the Divination Professor and to send her twin boys, Thomas and Willam, to school.

 Scott Edward Harris Lang

-Blood Status: Muggleborn

-House: Gryffindor

-Best Class: Arithmancy

-Wand: Fifteen inches, Pear, Veela Hair

-Patronus: Swarms of Ants

-Quidditch: Seeker

-Bio: Scott received his letter the day after his eleventh birthday, surprising both his parents, because they were muggles. The sorting hat decides to put him in Gryffindor even though he is smart enough to be in Ravenclaw. His best class is Arithmancy and he spends a lot of time describing the use of muggle objects to the pure and half-bloods in Gryffindor. He loves Quidditch and made it on to the Gryffindor team as seeker in fourth year. After he left Hogwarts, he became a Death Eater, but sold plans of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named to the Order of Phoenix. He kept doing this until the Dark Lord found out and killed his wife, Maggie, and seriously injured his daughter, Cassie. From then on he went into hiding and only helped out the Order of Phoenix when he could. After the Dark Lord is killed he finally comes out of hiding to send his now eleven year old daughter to Hogwarts.

This is just me rambling and having ideas and thoughts and everything, so I’m going to scream for a bit. 

Thinking about arknights verse and how post-amnesia zarina later int he game starts to have existential crisis for several reasons. 

1) she doesn’t want to remember the past because it’s possible that the ‘current’ her will die and she doesn’t want to ‘die’ or ‘disappear’; 

2) she keeps feeling something very big is missing and the feeling is growing strong each chapter & it makes her restless and she hates it but tries to power through it, which leads to her being more stressed out; 

3) she starts to see silhouttes of victor and aleksey in her dreams and when she’s close to something that’ll trigger some very, very important to her because they’re her family and she joined Rhodes Island first to save Aleksey from Oripathy and then to keep fighting to not let Ursus fall down as well.

And I’m thinking that when she does remember Victor and Aleksey, they’re like her guides to remembering in a sense but when she does remember and she thinks she hears Victor next to her and telling her to just let it all go, she does remember everything and it turns into ‘You’re not real, because you haven’t been for many, many years’ to  ‘I’m sorry I let you die.’ 

Like I’m just thinking of this anime sequence of Zarina sitting alone and talking to herself and ‘Victor’ while piecing everything together and she’s crying at the end because she let her whole family die, she allowed herself to be put into cryosleep by Kal’tsit and it led to Ursus also falling down since she & Victor weren’t there to monitor certain activities, she was so weak for forgetting and for allowing herself to forget. 

She’d be mad angry at Kal’tsit for sure, it’s NOT fair from her side towards Kal’tsit and whoever else took part in the cryosleep/cryo-coma but it’s her personal thought process and it’s her personal grudge that others probably will never have, but she does. And it makes me so upset how things will go with her remembering her brothers and going through the intense feelings of loss all over again because she wasn’t strong enough to protect them and even remember them afterward.
